On 23rd November, 1914, the 1st South Wales Borderers battalion of 3 Brigade, 1st Division moved into the front line at Kemmel in Belgium where they remained until relieved two days later at which point the battalion moved back to Outtersteene for a period of training for the rest of the month. Edward Kemp died on 28th November but as yet there is no further information concerning his death. |
